Mother’s day is a special day which is celebrated to express respect, honor, and love towards mothers. The day is an event to honor the contribution of mothers, acknowledge the efforts of maternal bonds and the role of mothers in our society. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magic touch to heal all wounds and make the life beautiful.
The students SDS School participated in various activities on this special occasion. The event was held on 7th of May,22.
Activities are as follow.
To make us understand the importance of water and immediate need of saving water ,students of SDSS school from Yamuna house with its members has done the street play.
We should wakeup before water become a scarce commodity in the near future. A lot of water gets wasted during weddings, our homes ,our schools , etc. “Water is precious”,use it wisely.
We come from a culture where water is worshipped. We wish that after watching this street play we all will be able to understand the importance of saving water & will adapt more sustainable and water friendly measures.
SDSSCPIC celebrated the Earth Day activities on April 23, 2022. The theme taken was “Save Earth”as we believe that the A green future is a prosperous future.
We have organised the various activities for primary , middle and senior students.
So that the students can make a big difference. As good learners they have the opportunity to spark passion in them and that will drive them to do their part to take care of the Earth.
Here are a few different kinds of inter house activities to inspire our students on this Earth Day:-
Group A: Drawing on ( My sweet home).
Group B : Drawing on ( Save Water).
Group C : Poster on (Earth Day).
Group D : Model or Craft on ( Earth Day ).
Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org (formerly Earth Day Network) including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.The official theme for 2022 is Invest In Our Planet.
पृथ्वी दिवस एक वार्षिक आयोजन है,जिसे 22 अप्रैल को दुनिया भर में पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए आयोजित किया जाता है। इसकी स्थापना अमेरिकी सीनेटर जेराल्ड नेल्सन ने 1970 में एक पर्यावरण शिक्षा के रूप की थी। पृथ्वी दिवस का महत्व इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि, इस दिन हमें ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के बारे में पर्यावरणविदों के माध्यम से पर्यावरण पर पड़ने वाले प्रभाव का पता चलता है। पृथ्वी दिवस जीवन संपदा को बचाने व पर्यावरण को ठीक रखने के बारे में जागरूक करता है। जनसंख्या वृद्धि ने प्राकृतिक संसाधनों पर अनावश्यक बोझ डाला है, संसाधनों के सही इस्तेमाल के लिए पृथ्वी दिवस जैसे कार्यक्रमों का महत्व बढ़ गया है।
पृथ्वी दिवस के अवसर पर विद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा सामूहिक पोस्टर, चित्र एवं आकृतियाँ बनाई गयी। विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य , कोऑर्डिनेटर ,सभी सदनों के अध्यापकों और विद्यार्थियों के सहयोग से सभी ने पृथ्वी दिवस को सफल बनाने के लिए अपनी अपनी भूमिका निभाई।
